DSCI personnel have supported the C&A of approximately 50 FAA systems, and are thoroughly familiar with the unique aspects of securing real-time operational systems. We conceived, developed, configured, and administered a Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) infrastructure to facilitate secured communications between the members of an FAA security group. Our staff designed, implemented, and configured a Wide Area Network (WAN) for the FAA’s National Airspace System (NAS) Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS), assisting in testing the interconnectivity, security reliability, protection, and operational capabilities of the system. DSCI experts also contributed the overall design and data migration for several FAA databases that involved web integration, multiple sub-databases, requirements tracking, schedule tracking, tools, training materials, and IT help desk calls.
